Nevermore was formed to do one thing well: move agricultural commodities from international origins into European markets, under contract, with the records the European buyer is required to hold.
We are the counterparty that carries the complexity between origin and factory gate.
Nevermore Sp. z o.o. is registered and operates from Poland, inside the European Union customs territory. Our activity is the sourcing, import and distribution of agricultural commodities — cocoa, coffee and spices — sourced in Indonesia through our base in Bali.
We are not a broker passing an offer between two parties. We contract with the supplier at origin and with the buyer in Europe, and we take responsibility for the sequence in between: specification, documentation, freight, customs and delivery.
We chose depth before breadth. One origin worked properly produces better quality control, better documentation and better prices than five origins worked by email — and it is the only honest way to start. Further countries are being developed and will be added as we can run them to the same standard.
That model only works if it is boring and repeatable. Our objective is not to win a single opportunistic cargo, but to run supply programmes that a procurement director can plan a production year around.

Specification beats relationship
Good relationships matter, but they do not survive a disputed cargo. A written specification, agreed tolerances and a named arbitration standard do.
Compliance is a supply advantage
As European rules tighten, the constraint on supply is increasingly documentation, not availability. Suppliers who can evidence their chain become more valuable, not less.
Transparency is commercially rational
Telling a buyer that a lot does not meet their specification costs one shipment. Not telling them costs the account.
Depth beats breadth
One origin with a base inside it produces better quality control and better documentation than five origins worked by email. Breadth comes after, or not at all.
What we do — and what we deliberately do not.
Being explicit about our boundaries is part of being a credible counterparty. The list below reflects our current operating model.
- We do: source at origin, contract, import into the EU, and distribute in Europe.
- We do: maintain a working base in Bali, Indonesia, for supplier qualification and origin coordination.
- We do: coordinate freight, customs clearance and warehousing through selected partners.
- We do: assemble the documentation pack required for each shipment.
- We do not operate our own vessels, laboratories or processing plants.
- We do not describe the Bali base as a branch or a licensed representative office; it does not contract or invoice.
- We do not issue certifications; certification is held by the certified party and evidenced per lot.
- We do not sell to consumers or in retail quantities.
